Food Mechanic is a bright little daytime restaurant serving high quality, nourishing food with a focus on healthy grab & go options. Founded by husband-and-wife team, Shane Dykhuis & Anne Zuelke.
Shane is the chef who learned nutrition based, restorative cooking techniques at Bauman College and honed those skills while cooking at fine restaurants across Northern California. Anne studied nutrition at Bauman College and ensures each item on the menu is not only delicious, but also health-giving.
This means we don't cut corners when it comes to ingredients and we make nearly everything from scratch. We are committed to using local, organic and seasonal ingredients as much as possible. Our kitchen is 100% gluten-free and we don't use highly processed vegetable oils. We stick to real foods that are super fresh and nutrient dense. You'll taste the difference!
